Face Masks

Face masks  an additional barrier to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses. We no  longer require you to wear a mask to attend the practice unless you are unwell with any respiratory symptoms.

Zero Tolerance

This Medical Practice has a zero tolerance for abusive and or threatening behaviour against staff. This includes shouting, swearing, aggressive actions, threats, inappropriate gestures and name calling.

Abusers will be required to leave the clinic and transfer their care to another practice.

Abnormal Results

Patients will now receive a SMS message on their mobile asking them to make an appointment to follow up any abnormal results. A doctor or nurse will still contact those patients who don’t receive mobile messages or don’t have an appointment.  If you have not heard from a doctor or nurse about your results, call between 2.00 and 4.00 pm daily to speak to a nurse or make an appointment to discuss further.

Medical Students

Medical students from Adelaide University who are in their 5th year of medical training will be placed at the practice throughout the year. During this time, they will have consulting experience assisting the doctors with patient care.

 

Recall and Reminders

Our practice is committed to preventative health care. We may issue you with a reminder notice from time to time offering services appropriate to your care. If you do not wish to be a part of this system, please let your doctor, nurse or receptionist know.
